Who owns the website and the domain?
You do. The domain is registered in your company name and the site is yours to take elsewhere. We think that should be obvious, but it is worth checking with any supplier before you sign.
Can I edit the content myself?
Yes. Changing text, images and pages is straightforward and we walk you through it at handover. You only need us for the bigger structural work.
How long does it take to build?
For a straightforward site you are usually looking at a few weeks. The build is rarely the bottleneck; getting the text and photography together almost always is.
Is WordPress secure enough for a business site?
Yes, provided it is maintained. Most problems come from outdated plugins and weak passwords rather than from WordPress itself. That is exactly what ongoing maintenance covers.
Can you rebuild my existing site instead of starting over?
Often, yes. If the foundation is sound, improving structure, speed and content usually beats starting from scratch. When the system is outdated or slow at its core, rebuilding works out cheaper than patching.
